Viime marraskuussa edesmenneen Udo Kierin muistoksi Cinema Orionin halloween-elokuvana nähdään rakastetun näyttelijän varhainen kulttihitti. Kreivi Christian von Meruh (Udo Kier) on noidanmetsästäjän oppipoika, jonka usko joutuu koetukselle. Näyttelijäkaartiin kuuluu myös elokuvan varsinainen taustapiru, tuottaja Adrian Hoven, joka muutamaa vuotta myöhemmin ohjasi jatko-osan Mark of the Devil Part II (Hexen geschändet und zu Tode gequält).
